Time-priced engagements at a senior consulting rate. Where the work builds a durable, ownable asset — a franchise system, an orchestrator model, a piece of IP — an equity component alongside the retainer can sometimes make sense. Equity is the exception, not the default, and only on conviction both sides.

I started my first business in my parents' pool house in 1998, at 19, broke, with no mentor and no manual. What followed was 27 years across nine industries — hospitality, construction, retail, manufacturing, fintech, technology, mining, agriculture, and commodity trading.
